80 mph winds were recorded last night causing major tree damage and some structure damage to homes along Lakewood Drive where I live and other streets south of town. Pictured above are actually two huge tress that were in front of my brother's next door cottage. Believe it or not neither his house which you can't see on the left and the yellow cottage seen here received minimal damage - possibly due to the fact there was enough yard area between the two homes to allow for a place for the trees to land. Also, an electrical cable that was around one of the trees is what kept it from crushing my brother's home. My back fence was the major damage I suffered at my home along with one broken window. The white object seen on the ground is part of my neighbor's chimney which the huge branch seen here knocked off and caused the damage to my fence.
